Malaysia 45M Three-legged Telecommunication Pipe Tower Project

The 45-meter three legged communication monopole project, constructed by X.Y. TOWER, was recently completed in Malaysia. The tower utilizes Q345B high-strength steel as the primary material, combined with hot-dip galvanizing anti-corrosion technology, ensuring structural durability exceeding 30 years in high-temperature, high-humidity, and salt-spray corrosive environments.
In terms of engineering innovation, the project employs modular segmented prefabrication technology and optimizes load distribution at nodal points through BIM 3D modeling, reducing the tower’s weight by 15% while enhancing wind resistance to Level 12 standards (37 m/s wind speed). The tri-leg support design further reinforces structural stability, enabling multi-functional load-bearing capabilities for 5G communication equipment, meteorological radars, and other installations.
After six months of stable operation, the monopole has withstood extreme weather conditions without structural damage, establishing a high-reliability benchmark for similar communication infrastructure projects and laying the foundation for regionalized batch deployment.
